Marvin Swallow is a respected Lakota elder, a ceremonial Sundance Chief, and a visionary artist from the Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota. His work is rooted in the continuation of Lakota traditions, carrying forward teachings around culture, ceremony, and responsibility to the land.
Beyond his ceremonial role, Marvin is also doing practical, on-the-ground work through Lakota Small Farms and Bow See Fast Sanctuary (Arigato Farms).
These projects focus on food sovereignty, water protection, and creating spaces for healing within the community.

This month, The Way Of Life community will be directing funds toward Lakota Small Farms to support the continuation of this work.
If you feel called to go deeper and be part of something ongoing, you can join the paid community. At least 50% of every subscription goes directly toward supporting elders and the communities they are working within.
This is one of the ways we keep these teachings alive, not just by listening, but by standing behind the people carrying them.
